Dinesh Vasu Dash serves as Minister of State for the Ministry of Culture, Community and
Youth and the Ministry of Manpower, Mayor of South East District, and Adviser to East Coast
GRC Grassroots Organisations (Bedok).
With 28 years of experience in public service, he has dedicated his career to strengthening
communities and advancing policies that support Singaporeans across all stages of life. His
work focuses on workforce development, caregiver support, active ageing, youth engagement,
and building resilient families.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, he played a role in safeguarding vulnerable groups,
reinforcing his commitment to inclusive and community-centred policymaking. Inspired by his
father’s service in the police force, he remains guided by the belief that Singapore’s
progress depends on collective effort and shared responsibility.
He continues to work closely with residents, community partners, and stakeholders to ensure
that policies remain responsive, inclusive, and grounded in the lived experiences of
Singaporeans.
