Alvin Yuan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of HealthMetrics, Southeast Asia's leading digital healthcare platform for employers and insurers. He started the company in Malaysia in 2015 aiming to make corporate healthcare easier to use, faster to pay for and fairer for everyone in the chain. In 2025, Alvin was named among the honourees of Tatler Most Influential, Tatler Malaysia's list of the people driving positive change in Malaysia and across Asia. Under his leadership, HealthMetrics has grown from a Malaysian start-up into a regional group operating in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. It serves more than 3,000 corporates, over 100 insurers and more than 2 million members globally, connecting them to a network of over 250,000 healthcare providers worldwide. The group runs digital third-party administration for insurers and self-funded employers, manages panel clinic networks, specialises in medical cost containment services and provides international medical assistance for patients treated across borders.
