A sustainability leader with over three decades of experience, Esther has played a pivotal
role in shaping CDL’s global sustainability leadership, earning the company top rankings
among real estate firms on the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations at the World
Economic Forum, Davos.
She published Singapore’s first sustainability report in 2008 and led the issuance of the
country’s first corporate green bond in 2017. Esther was named a UN SDG Pioneer (2018), one
of Reuters’ 25 Trailblazing Women against Climate Change (2023), and an inaugural member of
the TIME100 Climate Leaders in Business (2023).
She serves on several global boards and advisory platforms, including the World Green
Building Council, UN PRI, TNFD, GRI, IFRS APAC, WEF Nature-Positive Cities Commission, and
leading real estate and sustainability councils across Asia-Pacific.
In 2017, Esther founded Women4Green and Youth4Climate, initiatives dedicated to empowering
women and youth to drive climate action and sustainable development.
