Herston Powers is the Founding Managing Partner of 1982 Ventures, a leading early-stage venture capital firm focused on fintech in Southeast Asia. Previously, he was a Principal at Tryb Group and spent nearly a decade as Head of Southeast Asia at BNY Mellon, where he advised on cross-border capital markets. He also co-founded Closir, a fintech platform, and holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD.
