Jeremy Choong is an experienced General Manager with a strong track record in the investment management industry. He is well-versed in areas such as negotiation, budgeting, business planning, sales and distribution, strategic planning, and the deployment of AI in industry settings. Jeremy holds a B.Sc. from the National University of Singapore and postgraduate education in Science from Nanyang Technological University. Awarded the prestigious Public Service Commission Scholarship in 1999, Jeremy served in various Singapore Government ministries until 2007 before transitioning to the private sector. Since then, he has held Country Head and Regional Head roles across several FMCG and IT companies, overseeing operations in all 10 ASEAN countries, as well as Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. His corporate experience spans networking architecture, the deployment of AI-driven solutions integrated with hardware infrastructure, and strategic market development. Multilingual, Jeremy speaks nine languages and dialects. Outside of work, he enjoys sports like basketball and soccer, and is a longtime chess enthusiast, particularly interested in AI and chess engines such as AlphaZero and LeelaChessZero.
